About the role
The successful candidate will take ownership of the business development cycle, from initial prospecting and qualification through consultation, proposal development, negotiation, and client onboarding. This is a client-facing role requiring strong commercial judgment, disciplined pipeline management, and the ability to communicate the value of Mirox's services to healthcare decision-makers.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, strategic partnerships, and targeted prospecting.
- Build, qualify, and manage a structured sales pipeline from lead generation through to signed agreement.
- Conduct consultative meetings with healthcare providers, practice leaders, and other decision-makers to understand operational and revenue cycle needs.
- Present Mirox solutions clearly and recommend the services most appropriate to each prospective client's requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate proposals, follow-up communications, commercial discussions, and negotiation activities.
- Develop long-term professional relationships that support client retention, referrals, and future growth opportunities.
- Represent Mirox professionally at conferences, networking events, virtual meetings, and relevant industry forums.
- Work closely with Marketing and internal stakeholders to support campaigns, refine messaging, and generate qualified leads.
- Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, next steps, opportunities, and forecasts within the designated CRM system.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and developments affecting healthcare providers and the revenue cycle management sector.
- Consistently work toward agreed business development, conversion, and revenue objectives.
- Coordinate an orderly handover of newly acquired clients to the appropriate operational team.
Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, account acquisition, or another target-driven commercial role.
- A demonstrated record of generating new business and achieving or exceeding sales objectives.
- Experience managing the sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and closing.
- Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing business decision-makers.
- A consultative approach, with the ability to understand client challenges and translate them into relevant service solutions.
- Self-motivation, sound judgment, and the ability to manage priorities and opportunities independently.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline activity, follow-ups, reporting, and forecasting.
- High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, accuracy, and written communication.
Preferred experience
- Experience selling B2B professional services, outsourced solutions, or recurring service arrangements.
- Experience in healthcare, medical billing, revenue cycle management, financial services, or another regulated service environment.
- Familiarity with the needs of physician practices, clinics, specialty groups, or other healthcare organizations.
- Experience developing business within the United States healthcare market.
- A record of building and managing long-term client relationships.
- Experience representing an organization at conferences, exhibitions, or professional networking events.
- A qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
